When you are charged

1. Render — free. You create and preview the book at no cost. No card required.
2. You confirm— your card is charged here, at the moment you click “Confirm and send to press”. Not before.
3. 60-minute review window — after confirmation you have up to 60 minutes to cancel for a full cash refund. Cancel inside /account/orders or email [email protected].
4. Press-commit — when the window closes we send the manuscript to Lulu. After this point the book is personalised goods in production; EU and UK withdrawal rights no longer apply (Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 16(c); UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 reg. 28(1)(b)).
5. Printed & shipped — Lulu prints and dispatches. Typical lead time 1–2 weeks.
